MATT'S PENALTY NETS ARUNDEL A HOME TIE
MATT HUCKETT'S 89th-minute penalty at Three Bridges on Saturday earned Arundel a home tie with VCD Athletic in the FA Vase third round, to be played on December 10.
After inter-play between Lee Barnard and Dave Walker, Huckett burst into the penalty area, only to be brought down by Bridges' substitute Grant Philpott. Referee Simon Maynard had little hesitation in pointing to the spot and Huckett scored low to Bridges' keeper Alan Mansfield's right.
It was a deserved victory for Arundel who looked the more dominant side throughout, especially in the second half.
