Morris staying at Sidley

SIDLEY United defender Graham Morris has snubbed a seven day approach from Eastbourne United to stay at The Blues ahead of their trip to Redhill in Sussex Division One on Saturday December 14.

Sidley joint-manager Peter Heritage said: "We have spoken to him and he said he is staying which is great news. I don't know what advantage he would have from going over there, but it's still nice to hear the players say they want to stay at the club."

Adam Day and Kevin Rose are still suspended, and Shae Spreafico is a doubt after he picked up a knee injury last weekend. Dave Ward could also be unavailable due to work, but Jimmy Watson returns.

Bexhill United visit Crowborough Athletic in Sussex Division Three on Saturday.
