Mullets cruise to victory at Ringmer

ARUNDEL Football Club produced their best performance of the season on Saturday and could have left Ringmer with an even more comprehensive win.

The win delighted boss Vic Short, he said: "We played very well, probably the best we have played all year.

"We gave the ball back to them too easily in the first half but after half-time we kept the ball much better and passed well. The way we played in the second half, they would not have been able to have any complaints if we had won by four, five or six."

Ringmer, managed by former-Mullets boss Steve Johnson, included three former Arundel players in goalkeeper Matt May, midfielder Steve Blake and striker Miles Scerri. Another ex-Mullet, Dan McLaughlin, missed the game through injury.
