NEIL IS THE KEY MAN

STEYNING Cricket Club celebrated their first win of the season on Saturday, in rather more comfortable circumstances than they may have expected.

Winning the toss and electing to bat, Steyning made just 180-8 from their 58 overs and were unsure if that would be enough. But, East Grinstead struggled from the beginning of their reply and made just 118.

Sussex contracted all-rounder Neil Turk top-scored with 38 before he was one of Neil Mansbridge's four victims. Mansbridge finished with 4-34 from nine overs and Greg Barnes took 3-35 from seven overs. Andy Ridley added another two wickets to the five he took last week.
