NEW ROLE FOR TAYLOR

LITTLEHAMPTON FC manager Andy Taylor has decided to step down after three and a half years at the Sportsfield helm.

His move into the background is a transition for the 36-year-old former Worthing striker in one of combining footballing duties with those of a commercial nature.

This, though, is not a snap decision on the club's behalf. Taylor has achieved promotion through his firm and cannot commit the time he would like to keeping his hand fully on the first-team tiller.

It was Taylor, together with club chairman Mike Blackmore, who came up with idea to make the switch from team to proposed general and commercial manager.
