New West Sussex Chairman of ABRS

West Sussex trainer Julian Marczak is the new chairman of the Association of British Riding Schools, succeeding Duncan Brown who will continue as an executive member.

Julian takes up the role having been an executive member for some years and has previously chaired both the ABRS Examinations and Advisory Committees.

Until March 2004 when the family centre closed, Julian, together with his mother, Suzanne, was co-proprietor and chief instructor of Suzanne's riding school in Harrow, Middlesex which reached its 65th year under the same ownership.

Prior to working with horses full time Julian was public relations and press officer of the prestigious bank, Coutts and Co.

Today he runs Kings Barn Equestrian in Ashurst, West Sussex where he is very much a hands on trainer.
