197 pictures from today's Hastings Half Marathon

Three of the first five men home in today's race were local athletes, as were two of the first three women.

But no-one could keep up with the blistering pace set by the winner Seyfu Jamaal, who crossed the line in 1hr 5min 16sec.

Check out our exclusive picture gallery on this page and those linked – it shows many of the runners in St Vincents Road, a little way after the start.

We’ll have more pictures and video from the main race and the mini run on this site in the next couple of days, so keep checking. And we’ll have full coverage in the Hastings Observer on Friday.
