Hide AdChichester drew first blood in the seven-goal thriller when Alex Baxter struck in the seventh minute, but the lead was shortlived with a Kyle Good equaliser almost straight from the restart.
When Will Devitt and Neil Hamilton struck to extend Spencer’s lead to 3-1, Chichester appeared in trouble, but Joe Bugden clawed one back before half-time.
Pendle’s second-half goals - in the 38th (penalty corner) and 47th minutes - won it for Chichester, who host home games this weekend v Old Loughtonians (Saturday) and Bedford (Sunday) to put the squeeze on Wapping.
