The Golf Marathon at Cowdray was completed last Thursday and was a resounding success, despite it being the hottest day of the year. Hannah and Jo have raised over £10k, which is staggering, all in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society. They began their nine rounds of 18 holes at 4.15am and completed the challenge at 7.43pm, having taken just over 61k steps each. Charlotte Verdon said: "The course was busy throughout the day and everyone played their part to allow play to flow as safely as possible. They particularly enjoyed their rounds with Dame Laura Davies and Trish Johnson. They made a birdie 3 on the final hole!
