Crawley cyclist Katie-George Dunlevy has had an amazing summer – and the gold medal winner showed off her medals in her home town.

After winning silver and gold at the Paralympics in Paris with pilots Eve McCrystal and Linda Kelly, Katie has competed in Zurich, the first combined Para and able-bodied World Road Championships.

Dunlevy and Kelly rode a masterful 30km Time Trial, winning by over a minute before winning the 84.7km Road Race by more than a minute.

This meant the Irish star retained her double Gold Championship wins from the Glasgow Worlds last year.

And on Sunday, Dunlevy celebrated her success at the Emerald Club in Crawley where a number of people, including MP Peter Lamb and councillors Brian Quinn and Chris Mullins, spoke to her and saw her medals.
