The 13 mile course took runners through Worthing town centre and out onto a coastal road for two laps, providing wonderful seaside views.
Starting bright and early at 8.30am, it kicked off alongside the Worthing 10km course, as runners on both races battled to raise money for their chosen charities.
Each finisher received a bespoke medal, an accurate chip-timed result and a celebratory t-shirt upon completing the race.
