Roffey close in on the title

In week 19 of 21 of the Billingshurst League programme, champions Windmill GG went down heavily at the Cricketers but Roffey held Springbok Club at bay and now need just 5.5 points from three matches to lift the title.

Results: Roffey SSC A 3, Springbok Club 2; Cricketers 4, Windmill GG 1; Plough 3, Railway 2; Alfold SC v RSSC B - postponed.

With Roffey visiting Windmill in the final week, Springbok with a home derby match to come, must surely be favourites for the runner-up spot.
