Romans are coming to Billingshurst … to play rugby
Spring 2026 will bring the much-anticipated founding meeting of Billingshurst Romans Rugby Club.
The club will specialise in touch, social and women’s rugby.
Founders say Billingshurst has a great tradition of strength in football and cricket clubs but hasn’t before had a rugby club.
Based on the A29 in the gap between much larger clubs, Horsham and Pulborough, the Romans will prioritise offering a fun, friendly and inclusive environment for players of all abilities within the Billingshurst parish.
The committee will be formed at the meeting, and anyone with a passion for rugby is invited to get in touch for a nomination form.
