Collyer’s netball team won bronze at the Association of Colleges (AOC) Regional Tournament, held at Surrey Sports Park this week. The team won 7 matches, including Surrey/Sussex derbies against Reigate and Woking colleges, respectively.

Coach Michelle Peckham was delighted: “'Wow! What a great day of netball at the AOC tournament this year. We were put into 2 pools of 8 teams, winning 7 out of the 8 matches, finishing second in our pool. The girls performed extremely well under some intense pressure, and playing outside dealing with light rain and slippery courts. In the semi’s we came up against a strong Worthing side, narrowly losing 13-9.”

The Collyer’s team comprised: Mia Banks, Martha Bonner (VC) , Izzy Brown, Angela Herbert; Emily McWatt, Evie Mortimer, Alexis Park-Griffiths, Abi Sackett; Izzy Scott, Hannah Tickle, Charlotte White (C) and Connie Wiffen.
