Why bowlers are bewitched at Horsham club

The format of the day was a new one to the club – but one that is sure to be repeated.

Played in randomly drawn and changing pairs, but scored individually, players competed over four rounds, attempting to deny challengers as much as a sniff of the cauldron of success. Much fun was had by all.

The overall winner was Danny Craft, with Tina Palmer second and Graham Ives third.

The award for fancy dress went to Chris and Nicky Williams and the Spider was won by Ian Coker – his third prize-winning competition in a row.

A club spokeswoman said: “Well done to all who played and who made it happen. …. see you all again in December, or as soon as we are allowed!”
