Earlier, East Grinstead's useful total of 244 all out was based around good knocks from Simon Williamson (63), Toby Margetts (54) and Dan Sharpe (34).

Most of the wickets fell to the two left-arm spinners - Mick Glazier with 5-44 and James Chaplin with 3-52.

Priory, who went into the clash on the back of five successive wins in all competitions, picked up 14 points which meant they lost ground on leaders Eastbourne who won for the sixth time in seven games this season.
