PROMOTION HOPE GONE?
RUSTINGTON Football Club manager Gareth Davies believes promotion is now unlikely after his side suffered their fifth league defeat of the season on Saturday.
The final score did not reflect the closeness of the game and Davies said: "I'm sure the result will look like a hammering to most people. But, in all honesty, either side could have won the game.
"The difference was Lingfield took their chances and we didn't.
"I think promotion is now out of the question but we mustn't give up and I expect a response on Saturday."
