Twelve battled it out for 45 minutes in an action-packed Racketball 75-and-up tournament. The aim was for each player to keep score of how many points they accumulate and each player was on court until they got five points before going to the back of the line and rotate. They then try to get to ten, 15 and 20.

The player who reached 75 points or had the highest points total after 45 minutes was the winner. Mike Phillips organised the tournament.

The annual club Children in Need Golf Day was held at Chichester Golf Club. A total of 28 golfers braved wet and windy conditions.

At the end of the round the entertaining ‘fines session’ started which raised more funds. The total raised from the club’s golfers was a fantastic £629.34.

Members of Chichester Harbour Rotary Club support the Children in Need evening at the club each year by eating in the restaurant and presenting the Michael Carless trophy. The trophy goes to a club junior who has shown the highest levels of sportsmanship over the year – it was pleasing to see this year’s recipient the thoroughly-deserving Louie Martin.

The annual auction with auctioneer Mike Harris, was a great success and bought the total raised for Children in Need at CRAFC to a staggering £3,371.87.
