Rooks draw at Bognor

Lewes were held to a 2-2 draw in the Conference South at Bognor Regis on Tuesday evening despite dominating much of the match.

Karl Beckford opened the scoring for the Rooks with a screamer from the edge of the penalty area in the 21st minute and they led 1-0 at the interval.

Bognor's leading goalscorer Ben Watson equalised on 63 minutes but the Rooks went ahead again with nine minutes left when Jamie Howell conceded an own goal from Beckford's inswinging corner.
