Rose rescues point for disjointed Sidley

SIDLEY United's poor run of form continued on Saturday with a 1-1 draw away to relegation battlers Southwick.

The last time the teams met Sidley claimed a convincing 7-1 victory, but this time they were only saved from embarrassment by a last minute equaliser.

Toby Hutchinson opened the scoring for the hosts midway through the first half and the game turned further against the Blues when Jimmy Watson was sent off for elbowing Ben Milford just before half time.

Southwick were largely in control against their ten men rivals but were hit by a sucker punch when Kevin Rose scored right at the death.
