After an on off start to 2016 due to waterlogged pitches, the Sussex All Blacks are hoping to get back on track this weekend when they host Eastbourne in the league kick off 2.30pm.

Having lost heavily away back in September (63-25) when the Rugby World cup was on the All Blacks will be back up to near full strength for the reverse fixture and are aiming for a win to kick start them on a run of games they have targeted to pick up some much needed points in their quest to retain London South East 3 status for next season.

Director of Rugby Ross Hallifax believes the All Blacks are not far off from taking some scalps in the league having run 2 of the top three teams very close away over the last three games.

He said: “Confidence and belief are building in the squad and if we can maintain the brand of rugby we played last week vs Aylesford Bulls over the next five vital games then we will put ourselves in a very good position in the league.”

With the Six Nations starting this Saturday the All Blacks will be aiming for a win against Eastbourne ahead of sitting back with a beer and burger watching the Calcutta Cup between Scotland and England which will be shown on their big screens.
