Felpham student gets rugby call from Harlequins

Andrew Fadera has been selected for the under-15s at Harlequins Rugby Club.

The Year 10 student at Felpham Community College started training with Harlequins five months ago and has just movecd from Worthing RFC to Haywards Heath RFC.

He had his first tournament with Harlequins last week as Surrey and Sussex played together in preparation for future tournaments this season.

Mark Anstiss, FCC headteacher, said: “As a school we are really proud of everything Andrew has achieved with his rugby and look forward to updates on upcoming events.”

Fadera added: “I enjoyed the tournament and felt I played to the best of my ability. The weather conditions were rubbish but it was good to play with different boys from all around the area.

“I look forward to hopefully being chosen for the team for future events.”
