Horsham rugby U13s take on Hove in top of the table clash

Horsham under-13’s match against Hove was billed as the clash of the titans, with both teams boasting 100 per cent records ahead of the contest.

The Hove defence were outstanding as they desperately defended wave after wave of early Horsham pressure before they finally broke out and Noah Reece scored in the corner. Horsham man of the match Harry Bradshaw produced a fine last-ditch try-saving tackle, before Hove scored again through Barney Fairbanks in added time at the end of the first half for a 10-0 lead.

Although the Horsham pack was strong, their line out was under great pressure from a towering Hove forward line. Hove then conjured up the try of the match, set up by Stan Robinson for Josh Routledge to score under the posts.

And with the benefit of the downward slope in the second half, further tries by Sam Painter and Jack Moore gave Hove a 34-0 win.
