It's official - Bognor's young rugby refs are the future

Jack Hornibrook, Josh Brown and Adam Hood worked tirelessly last season to gain young referee accreditation.

The lads spent many hours working hard in the classroom and out on the field refereeing school and club games of varied ages as well as the women’s under-13 national tournament at Staines RFC and the Sussex School Festival in Crawley.

Their passion for the role and superb attitude helped lead to the setting-up of the West Sussex Young Officials Academy with monthly sessions offering both theory and practical training led by the RFU.

Bognor RFC are proud to have these youngsters representing the club and the sport in such a positive way.
