Raiders won 50-45 away to the Lancashire-based club in September, which was their first-ever win in National 1.

Raiders head coach Kieron Dawson said: “I’m hoping we’ve shored up our defence since last time we played Fylde. They play a similar game to us, so it will be a good game again.”

Worthing have suffered five successive defeats after a 21-17 loss at home to leaders Doncaster Knights on Saturday. But their last three defeats have all been by four points or fewer, which has seen them pick up a losing bonus point in each game.

Looking ahead to the rest of the season, Dawson said: “We want to finish anywhere from fourth from bottom and above. It’s all about survival this year, we’ve said that since the start of the season. In my opinion, we probably say it too much.

“I think the players have gone out with that just trying to survive attitude at times and we’ve panicked when we’ve been in charge of games, so we’ll just look to pick up a few wins and turn those losing bonus points into bonus point wins.”
