Hide AdFollowing the government’s announcement that organised outdoor sport can resume from March 29, the RFU published a new ‘Return to Community Rugby Roadmap’ on March 5.
The roadmap summarises the plan for a phased return to full contact rugby, subject to each step on the government roadmap being met.
On March 29 contact training will return minus scrums and mauls.

It is anticipated that full contact training will return on May 17, provided there is no increase in Covid-19 figures.
If that criteria has been met, full contact matches could be staged a fortnight later on May 31.
