Sam signs up for Wales
SUSSEX is again represented on the Welsh national team following the selection of junior player Sam Dix for the Welsh Boys' Squad for the 2009 season.
The 16-year-old, who is a member of Ham Manor Golf Club, was selected for the under-16 squad last year and represented Wales at that level in a Four Nations match against Scotland, Ireland and Holland.
Sam was unbeaten in his singles matches and was defeated only once in the foursomes.
He gained four from a possible six points '“ a very creditable result for his first international cap '“ and is expected to do even better this year.
