Saxons get straight back on track

South Saxons made an instant return to winning ways in South Hockey League Sussex Area – Division One.

Saxons bounced back from being knocked off the top the previous weekend with a come-from-behind 4-2 win at home to Brighton & Hove III on Saturday.

An early short corner followed by a goal on the counter-attack put Brighton 2-0 up, but a George Eldridge penalty flick halved Saxons’ deficit at half time.
