Saxons held by struggling Southwick

South Saxons Hockey Club was held to a disappointing 3-3 draw away to Southwick on Saturday.

Saxons fell behind 10 minutes into their latest South Hockey League Sussex Area - Division One fixture, but Jamie Busbridge equalised following a trademark run by Toby Reed.

Southwick had two players sin-binned at the same time during the first half, and although Saxons didn’t score during that period, Paddy Cornish tapped home to put them 2-1 ahead at the interval.
