SCHOOLS BATTLE IT OUT OVER JUMPS

THE 2007 Windlesham House School Inter-schools Show Jumping Competition held at the Royal Leisure Centre, Henfield earlier this month, attracted entries from 16 teams, plus individual competitors, from 13 schools across the South East. There were prizes for both individual and team entries.

Once again, the most popular team event was Class Two - the 2ft 3ins to 2ft 6ins jumping - which saw ten teams keenly competing for the winner's shield. Victory went to the riders from Hurst College, Hurstpierpoint with Seaford College coming second and the Farlington School Red team taking third place.

The riders from Lavant House, near Chichester won the day's other team event - the 2ft 9ins to 3ft jumping competition. Farlington School's Blue and Green teams were placed second and third with the Windlesham Blazing Comets in fourth position.
