Shooting
The annual match, inaugurated by the graduates from London University and named after the 'colours' awarded to their team members, is shot at short range with teams of eight firing 10 shots each at 300, 500 and 600 yards.
It is widely regarded as being a significant test of team form for the other premier events in the shooting calendar and attracts county and other teams from around the country, many - including Sussex - entering A and B teams to test the full depth of their squads.
