Sidley begin Vase adventure

SIDLEY United travel to AFC Totton on Saturday September 21 in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Vase with joint-manager Glen Sully wanting to see more consistency from his side.

The Blues go into the game on the back of two defeats and a draw, including a shock 2-1 reverse at home to Second Division Lancing in the John O'Hara League Cup.

Sully said: "The only thing consistent about our performances is our inconsistency, that is our problem this season. If we play like we did in the last few games then it is going to be a long, silent journey home."

Lee Wood is unavailable and Paul Balch is doubtful, but Adam Day returns.

Any replay would be on Tuesday which would mean the postponement of Sidley's home league match against leaders Burgess Hill due to be played that night.
