Sidley thrashed by Premier leaders

HASTINGS Priory made light work of Sidley's challenge in the second round of the Sussex Cricket Cup.

Premier leaders Priory romped home by 163 runs after the Second Division strugglers were dismissed for a miserly 60.

Priory amassed 223-5 thanks to George Campbell (26), James Chaplin (29), Jason Finch (25), Richard Jackson (48 not out) and Bradley Smith (41).

Sidley never got going in reply as the Priory bowlers secured victory in double quick time. Only Tyrone Wildman (22) offered any resistance against the attack of Mick Glazier (3-6), Chaplin (3-2) and Chris Topp (2-1).
