Successful schools netball tournament
HOSTS Battle Abbey emerged triumphant from the Bexhill Schools Netball Tournament on Saturday morning.
A hugely entertaining and successful event saw Battle Abbey take the honours after winning five of their six matches, while the other ended in a draw.
The tournament, which has been held at Battle Abbey Preparatory School since 1995, was greatly supported by parents and friends of the primary school teams. The shield was presented by Battle Abbey head teacher Judy Clark.
Also taking part were Pebsham, King Offa, Little Common, St Mary Magdalens, St Peter & St Paul and Chantry.
