Sussex FA squad announced

THE Sussex FA will win the Southern Counties Cup with victory over Middlesex at Worthing Football Club's Woodside Road on Wednesday (April 16).

They have won two and drawn one of their three matches so far, and are second in the table, two points behind The Army, who have completed their programme.

Middlesex are bottom, with one win from their three matches.

Five local players have been named by boss Sammy Donnelly in the squad - Arundel's Chris Hibberd, East Preston's Tom Lawley and Tom Rand, and Wick's Julian Curnow and Scott Murfin.

Kick-off is 7.30pm.

Sussex squad: Chris Hibberd (Arundel), Dean Chamberlain, Wayne Clarke, Justin Harris, Phil Rhodes, Wes Tate, Ross Treleaven (all Crowborough), Tom Lawley, Tom Rand (both East Preston), Ben Billings (Eastbourne UA), Dan Jordan (Shoreham), Sam McVicar (Three Bridges), Graham Martin, Ross Standen (both Whitehawk), Julian Curnow, Scott Murfin (both Wick), Danny Smith (Worthing United).
