Swimmers celebrate best season

1066 SWIMMERS celebrated the most successful 12 months in the club's 11-year history at their AGM and Annual Awards Presentation evening.

The club now boasts a membership of no less than 280 child and youth swimmers so there was plenty of competition for the honours at the 2003 'Red-caps' Club Championships for which the results are listed below.

There were also a number of special awards handed out. The 'Endeavour Trophy' for services to the club was presented to Tracy Peppiatt. The 'Samuel Eaton Award' for courage in adversity went to Paul Dunmall while the Past Captains' trophies were awarded to Graham Watkins and Lyndsey Hollands.
