TERRY'S GOING TO TWIST FOR ANOTHER SEASON

BEFORE the season just gone, Terry "Twister" Withers had won almost everything there is to win in County League football. But, this year, he has captained Rustington to three cup successes and has no plans to hang up his boots just yet.

Withers, 40, said: "I'll be at pre-season training but will have to do some road-running to keep myself fit over the summer.

"Football's been my life, and it's like what Mark Burt said, you feel like a five-year old every time you are going to play. Although I'm not the player I was, I still feel I've got something to offer and I'll keep playing so long as I'm selected. I want to keep playing for as long as I've got the desire to do so."
