Tetrathlon star at 12

ENJOYING outstanding success in pony club tetrathlon events , which combine riding, shooting and swimming, is Ardingly College pupil Jamie Butt (12), who has been partnering his 12.2hh pony Prince Regent both as an individual and as a member of the Surrey Union Pony Club team.

The duo have completed as individuals in five tetrathlons locally and won all of them.

Tatrathlon led Jamie to becoming interested in pentathlon, where competitors have to shoot, swim and fence and ride on an unkown horse after only 15 minutes of warm up.

He was second this year in his age group in the British Yout Pentathlon Championships.
