There is nothing like a Dame for inspiration
BURGESS Hill School Junior and Intermediate athletics teams were inspired by the presence of Dame Kelly Holmes at the Sussex round of the track and field cup competition held at the K2 leisure centre in Crawley.
The double-Olympic champion was performing in the TV programme Celebrity Superstars, which was being recorded for a new series.
The girls had the opportunity to meet Dame Kelly and have a team photo taken with her. This inspired the youngsters to achieve some great performances on the track and field, with many personal bests being recorded.
