Two titans battle it out for the Denman Billiards Cup
The Denman Billiards Cup final held at the Lindfield Club brought together two titans of the three ball game and both produced outstanding performances.
All through the evening the free flowing break building of Ian Janman along with the creative shots of Barry Martin thrilled the attentive audience.
Both players took it in turns to take the lead where on most occasions it was not more than 20 points, there was no doubt in all minds that this match would go all the way to the wire. It was so, at the final hurdle Janman showed his true metal by keeping his cool to take him to a 400-382 victory, Stuart Williamson and Dennis Wakeford were the match officials
