Upgraded facilities

As part of its efforts to enhance the club profile and the playing and viewing environment and in line with the Club's five year development plan, much time and investment has been spent in the construction of a new patio area in front of the pavilion, as well as the installation of better scoring facilities.

The investment in facilities comes at a time where the club is seeing rapid expansion of its junior side with 130 players now signed up this season.

It is also delighted to have been asked by Sussex County CC to host a benefit match this season for Richard Montgomerie when West Chiltington and Thakeham play Sussex at home on Sunday September 2.

The opening ceremony on Saturday will coincide with the first key match of the season with West Chiltington and Thakeham 1st XI versus Brighton Insurance. The Club won the West Sussex League last year with Brighton Insurance coming a close second.

The official opening will begin at 1pm with a BBQ and bar open all afternoon/evening. All are welcome to come along and enjoy a great day's cricket or find out more about the club.
