With prize money up nearly ten per cent to £450,000, the event is all set to offer three afternoons of top-quality racing.
Thursday and Friday bring Oaks and Derby trials in the form of the Height of Fashion Stakes and Cocked Hat Stakes while Saturday’s final day kicks off with two listed races, the Tapster Stakes and the Festival Stakes.
In our video, racecourse MD Adam Waterworth previews the action and explains how the festival has grown since it was first run in its present Thursday-to-Saturday form in 2012.
Stick with this website over the course of the festival for previews, tips, reports, results and some of the action on video.
