A storming 11-1 victory over Hailsham Town sealed the Premier Division crown as they clinched an unassailable lead of eight points over Eastbourne Town.

The players and management were presented their medals by league chairman Steve Nealgrove, before captain Joe Shelley lifted the trophy and celebrated with team-mates.

Supporters crowded into the pitch and packed the main stand as the party got underway with Hornets lifting their first title for 20 years and sealing a return to the Ryman League.
