Weald Tennis Club Half term programme

The Weald Tennis Club hosted four internal match plays (mini red, mini orange, mini green and Under 18s) as part of the half term tennis programme.

There were 39 players involved throughout the day with everyone playing a minimum of 3 matches.

Some of the mini red players were so keen they squeezed in 9 matches, although a mini red match is just a tiebreak.

The aim of the match play is for Weald juniors to gain valuable match experience in a relaxed and friendly environment before competing externally. It was great to see some many juniors enjoying competing - even in the rain!

Also in the coaching programme that week was Junior Aegon Team Training, Improvers Coaching Course (11-15yrs), Full Mini Tennis Coaching Programme, Adult Return To Tennis Course and a Doubles Tournament (11-16yrs) with 9 pairs entered.
