WICKERS ARE DANGLING

TWO PENALTY appeals one awarded and one turned down left 10-man Wickers defeated on Tuesday night at Old Barn Way.

Sammy Donnelly's men passed up their second opportunity of climbing clear of the relegation area and must now wait to see how other clubs Littlehampton, Redhill, Sidlesham and Eastbourne United finish their season to determine where Wickers will be playing their football next season.

The game on Tuesday was decided by the awarded and converted penalty three minutes from time.

Ringmer's Damien Dobbyn was chopped down by Chris Brown with three minutes left. Dobbyn stepped up and struck home the penalty calmly.
