Young drivers contest British Junior Hot Rod championship

ANGMERING Raceway (www.ovalraceclub.co.uk) will showcase the short circuit racing stars of the future when the talented young drivers, aged between contest the 2009 British Junior Championship on Sunday, March 8.

The British Junior Championship is open to all Junior Hot Rod formulas running engines up to 1,000cc allowing up and coming drivers from around the country to take part in what promises to be an exciting and challenging day's racing at Sussex's only banked oval raceway.

In addition to watching the stars of the future in action, racing fans will also be treated to an action packed series of racing from the wide range of formulas, including Saloon Rods, Street Stox, Hot Rods and the manic Nudge and Spin Bangers that regularly race at Angmering.

Angmering is located just off the M27 onto A280, between Worthing and Angmering. The gates open at 8am, with racing commencing at 11.30am.

Adult admission is 10 kids, 10-14, 5, with kids under ten free.

Senior Citizens, disabled and Students (with valid student cards) can also enjoy a days racing for just 5. Angmering also offers free parking on hard core surfaces and dedicated parking areas for disabled drivers.
