Youngsters soon make their mark
The Haywards Heath League’s Warden Park Club table tennis team made a flying start in their National Cadet League debut.
It was the boys who played first in the four-strong squad, with Kate Bridger sitting it out.
She is pictured with, from the left, Bertrand Siu, Luke Gallagher and Charlie Hough. Bridger will play in the next round in early December, when because the boys went through undefeated in five matches in Division 2, they will be a promoted team in Division 1. That was a fantastic achievement in their first outing in the National League.
