Listen to The Chi Pod – a new podcast about Chichester launched today

One of the main objectives behind the new podcast is to support local businesses and shops following the Covid-19 lockdown.

The first episode features Observer editor Gary Shipton talking about the future of the city following the easing of lockdown restrictions, plus Glenn Johnson of The Hornet Alehouse who explains how his micropub has adapted to meet the new challenges created by social distancing requirements.

Duncan Barkes, creator of The Chi Pod, said: “The spoken word is a powerful force and podcasting is a great way of bringing information, stories and local voices to the ears of Chichester residents.

“Our city is facing a challenging time so I want to raise awareness of the many independent businesses we should all be supporting.
