Wick Week wonders set to amaze

A RECORD-BREAKING number of activities will be taking place during Wick Week, this month.

The annual bonanza, which kicks off on Monday and finishes on Saturday, July 28, will see an impressive 50 events taking place during this year’s festivities.

From karate, archery and Zumba, to Wick-wide treasure hunts, craft sessions and model helicopter lessons, there will be something for everyone.

Also making a return is the ever-popular Wick’s Got Talent, which will be taking place on Thursday, of next week, at the Wickbourne Centre, in Clun Road, from 6.30pm.

New additions to the daily programme include mini-kickstart sessions for the under fives at the 5th Littlehampton Sea Scouts Hall, in Lineside Way, from 10am to midday.

A youth drop is also available for those aged between 12 and 18 and will run each afternoon from the Keystone Centre, in Eldon Way, from 1pm to 3pm. The sessions promise sports, games, cooking and creative activities and entry this year is only 50p.

There is lots to do for adults, too, from skittles, quiz nights, bingo and a create and craft evening at Wick Hall.
