Glyndebourne charity concert
On Sunday, April 15 at 3pm, Glyndebourne will stage a charity concert in aid of The Martlets Hospice at Hove, and Glyndebourne Education.
In an afternoon devoted to the music of J S Bach, the repertoire will include Air on a G String, Cantata: Jauchzet Gott in Allen Landen and Magnificat.
The concert will be conducted by Glyndebourne's music director, Vladimir Jurowski (pictured), and will feature the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the Glyndebourne Chorus and soloists Miah Persson, Mark Padmore, Amy Freston, Henry Waddington and Tim Mead.
